what i see in mozambique.

So here I am in Pemba, Mozambique. One of the most beautiful places I have been FOR SURE. With white sand beaches and turquoise water you don't really feel like you are in "africa". Oh but you are. I love it here so much. The people are breathtaking and the culture is beautiful. I am staying at a missions base/orphanage called "Iris Ministries". Me, Nathan, and a couple of our friends are shooting some video for them and having a blast doing it. It's a bit hard being here with all these beautiful children tugging at your arm to play with them, but having to try and protect my camera gear without literally shooing them away. But it's all to help the kids and that is what i have to keep reminding myself.Iris is doing a bunch of AMAZING stuff out here. Everyday I am seeing a new thing they are doing, or another person that the people here have completely reached out to. Literally THOUSANDS of children are fed here every single day. And for most of the children that one little plate of beans and rice is the only thing they will eat for the day. I am astonished with how happy the children are here. I know that sounds cliche, but it's very very true. I feel like all the playstations and gameboys should be thrown away in the western world, so that our kids can actually gain imaginations~! haha anyways. That is totally besides the point. I have been taking some photos while being here (my favorite thing ever in the entire world!). But we have mostly been shooting video. Here are a couple of my favorite shots. We will be here for 3 more days, so I am hoping that I can get some more fun stuff. I hope this shows you a bit of what I am seeing over here. Beauty, Joy, Love, and so much Hope for the kids that (without Jesus) had none at all.
