I recently bought a “McCall’s” magazine from the 60′s at a flea market a few months ago. It’s so fun to go through… recipes, makeup tips, and tons of cigaret advertisements! So funny how time changes things so much. But the real reason I bought it was to get some fun ideas for photography. The photographs in this magazine are beautiful, and it really does inspire me to be better. The photos are super classy and it’s crazy how 50 years later they are still so pleasing to the eye. That is totally what I am going for with my photography. I want classic.

I must say I am a bit of a snob when it comes to music. And girl artists are my favorite. I love to listen to Feist, My Brightest Diamond, Emiliana Torrini, Marketa Irglova, Alisha Keys, Norah Jones, Eva Cassidy, Lisa Hannigan, and so many more. But among my absolute FAVORITES is the beautiful and ever so talented Andrea Marie. True, she is one of my closest friends, but there is NO exaggeration in anything I just wrote.

If you like the sounds of heaven, then you will love her music. She has such a good mix of acoustic, piano, jazziness, and those raspy vocals that we all love. If you need some good spring music this is the album to buy. Andrea wrote all the songs, played piano/guitar, and produced the entire album! She is an inspiration to musicians and artists, because her music is full of emotion, a true work of art.

My sister came to visit me this past fall and we had such a blast together. She is my best friend and I love her SO MUCH. While she was here I took this here roll of film, and JUST NOW developed it. It was so fun looking through these, but it is making me miss her even more.

I love you leah. And I am thankful that you are so beautiful :)

Ok. WOW~! These two people right here are going to make it. I just see it in their eyes, the love they have for eachother. I know they are young, and have a ton of life ahead of them. But that is the fun of it. Being in love and committing no matter what the future holds.

I had a blast on this shoot. It was super relaxed and fun. Gabi and Paul are the most easy going people ever, and I hope I captured every bit of the beauty that is inside them both!
